Chigwell Group acquires Collier Row showroom in Romford

Chigwell Group, the umbrella company of Chigwell Window Centre, is pleased to announce the purchase of our third showroom on Collier Row, Romford. Just a 10-minute drive from the heart of the town centre, our new showroom is easily accessible from the A12, A1400 and Junction 28 of the M25.

Regardless of whether you live in Greater London, Essex, or the South East, you will not have to travel very far to get to our showroom in Romford.

This showroom establishes permanent roots in the London Borough of Havering. We will also shortly be opening our fourth showroom in Loughton.

Newly acquired showroom on Collier Row is the ‘go to’ place for home improvement products in the South East

Situated at 9-11 Chase Cross Road, the showroom was opened in March 2016 and soon became the ‘go to’ place in the area for anyone looking to purchase new windows, doors, and roof products for homes in the South East. Products on show at this showroom include Ezifold bifold doors, Smarts Visoglide Plus patio doors, Smarts designer door, Smarts aluminium windows, and many more.

Chairman of Chigwell Group, Dean Floyd said: “Since taking on the lease at Collier Row it has become increasingly clear that paying rent for a property where you want to be long term, and which is in the very heart of Havering, was not going to be commercially viable.

So, I approached the landlord and was delighted when he accepted our offer to purchase the freehold. This investment will now enable us to plan for the future with more certainty and signals our intent of continuing to expand this side of our business.”

Chigwell Window Centre involved in many local community events in Romford

During these past five years, we have become increasingly involved with many local community events. This includes hosting the Collier Row Carnival several years in a row and getting involved with the local communities Christmas celebrations.
