Project Overview

Our client in Brentwood wanted to replace the existing doors in their home with several sets of internal steel-look doors using the Aluspace System. The idea was to create more space in each room without having to have doors encroaching into the space. Sliding doors were the obvious choice here with their ability to open and close on a single track, taking up no space when open. At the same time, the doors would continue to create distinct zones whilst letting light flow between the rooms. within their open-plan layout while maintaining a seamless flow of natural light.

To achieve this, we installed several sets of AluSpace internal sliding doors in varying configurations:

Single Slider: A single moving panel that slides and parks against a fixed pane, offering a neat solution for smaller openings or where space is limited.
Two-Panel Doors: A bi-parting set of doors that open in front of the wall. This setup provides a flexible partition, allowing the client to either close off or open up the interior with minimal effort.
Four-Panel Doors: Positioned centrally, these doors open on both the left and right sides, sliding neatly behind fixed panels. This sophisticated arrangement creates an expansive walkway when fully open and a stylish division when closed.
